The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
