Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
